round a decimal number

This calculator allows you to round up or down a decimal number with the desired number of digits after the decimal point.

Rounding a number means giving an approximate value of that number with a certain number of digits after the decimal point.

• A number is said to be rounded up when the approximate value is larger than the number.
• A number is said to be rounded down when the approximate value is smaller than that number.

The calculator can be used to give the whole rounding of a decimal number, or to obtain the rounding of a decimal number with a given number of digits after the decimal point.
