The little math quiz

The little math quiz offers a set of exercises designed to help the youngest children reinforce their calculation skills. It allows them to practice the basic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. For this purpose, it gathers a part of the games available on the site.

Several types of games are included in the quiz: multiplication game; duration calculation game; magic squares game; area and perimeter calculation game; game on the 4 operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division); missing sign game; counting is good; missing number game; number comparison game.

Here are some examples of questions you will find in the little math quiz:

  • The area of a rectangle is given by the formula L*l where L is length and l is width, Calculate the area of a rectangle where L=23 and l=38.
  • What is the result of the following multiplication? 4 * 7
  • What is the missing sign in the expression: 45 ... 5=9 ?
  • What is the result of the following operation? 18 - 9
  • Compare the following numbers: 538 ... 726.
  • The perimeter of a square is given by the formula 4*l, where l is the length of a side. Calculate the perimeter of a square of length l=95.
  • In a magic square, the sum of the numbers in each row, in each column and on each diagonal is the same. Choose the number that completes the magic square.
  • What is the missing number in the following expression: 8*... = 32 ?
  • What is the result of the following subtraction? 15 - 4
  • What is the result of the following operation? 56min+6min
  • Give an approximate value to 2 decimal places of the perimeter of a circle of radius 10.
  • Give an approximate value to 2 decimal places of the area of a disk of radius 6.
  • What multiplication yields the number 15?
  • Use the yellow numbers and the blue arithmetic operators to calculate the target number.
